Things have been crazy lately trying to transition the With Love brand from a brick and mortar retail stationery store to an e-commerce store. I knew going into this that it would be an overwhelming amount of work - and I haven't been proved wrong yet!
I am really enjoying this time to be creative and grow things at my own pace and not be in the "hurry up and get it done" mentality I have always had before. In the past I would want to do everything and be everything right out of the gate - but that just leads to stress and missed opportunities.
I have been working on setting 12 month goals and I thought I would share some of my goals with you for this new adventure so you have an idea of what I want to accomplish in this new chapter of With Love. In doing this exercise I also wanted to simplify and see what the minimum accomplishments would be that would make me happy, and this is what I came up with.
I want 3 things for With Love -
1. Design cards and gifts that are true to my style, personality and beliefs about the world - but that help people celebrate and commemorate all the wonderful moments in life.
2. Sell cards (yes I need to make money) to people and businesses who also like my style, personality and direction!
3. Give back to the community and causes that are important to me and the world at large.
If I can do all of these things, I know that I will be happy and that my business will just continue to grow from here.
